KLIEMT.HR Lawyers grows and appoints Martin Eisenbeis as partner
Martin Eisenbeis was admitted to the partnership of KLIEMT.Arbeitsrecht on January 1, 2024. The partnership of KLIEMT.HR Lawyers thus grows to a total of 18 partners.
Martin Eisenbeis (40, Düsseldorf/Cologne), is a true KLIEMT native. He started as a research assistant in 2009, then worked as a legal trainee at KLIEMT.HR Lawyers and began his career as a lawyer in 2012 in the team of Prof. Dr. Michael Kliemt, with whom he still works closely today. After a one-year intermezzo as a partner at Trebeck von Broich in Cologne, he returned to KLIEMT.HR Lawyers in November 2022.
Martin Eisenbeis is ranked among the top lawyers for employment law by Wirtschaftswoche and Handelsblatt/Best Lawyers, for example. He advises companies throughout Germany, in particular on restructuring and outsourcing projects. He has particular expertise in providing employment law advice to start-ups, scale-ups, investors, private equity and venture capital companies, e.g. on employee participation programs and M&A transactions. Initially, Martin Eisenbeis will continue to work from the Düsseldorf office, but in the coming months he will help to set up the planned KLIEMT office in Cologne.
“We warmly congratulate Martin Eisenbeis on his well-deserved admission to the partnership. He is one of the top employment lawyers of the younger generation with many innovative ideas and an exceptional level of entrepreneurial creativity,” says Prof. Dr. Michael Kliemt, one of the firm’s founders and a member of the management board. “We look forward to continuing our continuous growth course together with Martin.” Dr. Barbara Reinhard, Head of the Frankfurt office and also a member of the Management Board, adds: “The appointment of Martin Eisenbeis as a partner confirms the excellent career opportunities we offer our lawyers from within our own ranks.”
KLIEMT.HR Lawyers is gradually strengthening its ranks with lateral hires, but traditionally places great emphasis on the internal development of lawyers, starting at associate level. With the appointment of Martin Eisenbeis as a partner, KLIEMT.HR Lawyers is further expanding its circle of ambitious younger employment lawyers. Last year, Dr. Anja Dachner from the Munich office had already been appointed partner. In the course of 2023, Dr. Christian Häußer, LL.M. Canterbury (44), from Hengeler Mueller and Felix Müller (37) from Bluedex joined KLIEMT.HR Lawyers, which means that the Frankfurt office has now grown to almost 20 professionals.
