KLIEMT.HR Lawyers is the Law Firm of the Year for Employment Law

In the JUVE Awards 2019, KLIEMT.HR Lawyers has again been named Germany’s Law Firm of the Year for Employment Law. Following wins in 2002, 2007 and 2013, the renowned JUVE-Verlag has now given this coveted award to KLIEMT.HR Lawyers for the fourth time.
On the evening of 24 October 2019, in a festive gala at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, before more than 1,000 invited guests from law firms and businesses, the annual JUVE Awards were presented. Awards went to Germany’s leading law firms in a variety of fields of law and legal departments. For the fourth time, KLIEMT.HR Lawyers was chosen as Germany’s Law Firm of the Year for Employment Law.
To quote the eulogy, “Kliemt is an excellent example of how a market leader law firm can improve even more. The Frankfurt office was restructured, and the newly opened offices in Munich and Hamburg open the firm to large and important markets.” Particular emphasis was given not only to impressive clients, but also to the strategical orientation of the firm, its reinforced restructuring practice and its perfect collaboration across all German locations, now five in number. The firm, which has “for some time been one of the market leaders” had successfully been raised “to yet a higher level”.
The award was collected on behalf of the law firm by Prof. Dr. Michael Kliemt, a member of the management board and one of the founding partners of the firm, which was founded in 2002 in Düsseldorf. “We are delighted about the award. We are especially proud that we are the first law firm to have received this coveted award for the fourth time – it confirms our excellent market position in employment law,” said Prof. Dr. Michael Kliemt, “Special thanks go to our many long-term clients and all our staff, who day after day help make KLIEMT so successful with their commitment and their superb team spirit,” said Kliemt.
The JUVE Awards are one of the most important awards in the German legal market. The JUVE law publisher’s editorial department of has been awarding annual prizes for more than 20 years, now in 18 categories, to legal departments and above all to law firms whose work and market position has attracted attention for professional excellence, for being service- and future-oriented or sustainable or for taking its work to a higher level. Preparations for the award include questionnaires sent to approximately 21,000 corporate contacts by the editorial department, which also holds a large number of interviews with clients, business partners of the law firms, junior lawyers and judges. On this basis the JUVE Awards are then given and law firm rankings in the various areas of specialisation are drawn up.
